This is right after the champagne, as we're backing off the trailer. We don't really know how many people were there, but the cops and the harbormaster both say about 500. We had people we hadn't seen in 20 years, who came from as far away as Michigan, Florida, D.C., and all over New England. It was like a reunion, and when you take this long to build a boat, an awful lot of people had seen her over the years. Also, the Boston Globe had done an article 3 weeks before, and the regional paper a front page article the day before (both visible in the "Restless in the News" section) so there were a lot of people we didn't know as well.
